Was bedeutet der Begriff "Loading Metre (LDM)"?
« Zurück zum IndexThe loading metre (LDM) is a unit of measurement in road freight and denotes one metre of loading space across the full width (2.40 m) and height of the load compartment. A standard semi-trailer holds about 13.6 loading metres. Forwarders often calculate part loads and groupage by the loading metres used, in order to convert weight and volume fairly into a freight price.
