Was bedeutet der Begriff "CPT (Carriage Paid To)"?
« Zurück zum IndexCPT (Carriage Paid To) is an Incoterms® 2020 rule for any mode of transport. The seller pays the carriage to the named place of destination and handles export clearance.
Important: risk passes as soon as the goods are handed to the first carrier – not at destination. From that point the buyer bears the transport risk even though the seller pays the freight.
